Ms. Staton has served with Mental Health Consumer Concerns (M.H.C.C.) since 2003 in a number of leadership roles. She has been Director of Finance since May 2008. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Staton managed the Contra Costa County W.R.A.P. Program where she developed program marketing materials and a weekly curriculum for the workshops to assist mental health consumers in developing their personal Wellness & Recovery Action Plan. She is a graduate of S.P.I.R.I.T. 2003, M.H.C.C.’s premier Mental Health Service Provider Training Program and is a Copeland Center Certified W.R.A.P. Trainer & Facilitator.
Ms. Staton has also worked as a certified corporate trainer and facilitator and has served as a financial consultant to various private and public organizations, including M.H.C.C. She was part of the Contra Costa County Adult Stakeholder’s Group to determine use of the Prop. 63 M.H.S.A. Funds. Active in the community, she continues her professional pursuits with nonprofit organizations serving the mental health population. Ms. Staton received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of California, Berkeley. |
